The installation into a 2016 Honda Odyssey took far longer than anticipated because the installation instructions were minimal at best.

There is an extra cable/harness included in the kit with zero indication as to what it is or does.

It turn out, the extra cable is to connect into the headliner and connect the Honda microphone.

It was a fairly simple connection but there were NO instructions as to what/where this mystery cord was for.

It took two emails (which meant two days) for Carputech to eventually and willingly provide the information, but it really should be included in the original packaging.

After the third installation, the product does work great. Apple CarPlay is up and running. It's only been a few days but even with the installation hiccup, I would recommend this unit.

I bought to try installing in my Acura MDX2017 to get the Apple CarPlay. The product website has a short video on the installation. It took about 10 days to get it delivered.

The installation is easy and work both wired and wireless right after installing (just plugging in the car radio) without any wire cutting or/splicing. Note the instruction is so brief. The customer support is pretty good.

The price is good and the product appears well made. I like it and it is easy to use. So far so good..

Its been more than 15 days since the order was placed & the product is still not delivered. Disappointed with shipping time.
